A viral video circulating on X shows a grown man having a public meltdown at a Florida sports bar after discovering the Bad Bunny halftime show was not playing on the televisions during Super Bowl festivities.
According to the clip, which was later reposted to TikTok, the man can be heard angrily confronting a manager at Zoo Sports Bar and Grill in St. Petersburg, Florida, after staff switched the TVs to the TPUSA All-American Halftime Show instead of the pop star’s performance. Visibly upset, the man framed the programming decision as a personal and cultural affront.
“What was supposed to be a proud moment for me and my people was taken away tonight,” he complained in the video, suggesting the bar’s decision deprived him of a meaningful experience.
What the man failed to mention is that the alternative broadcast he was protesting featured a headlining performance by Kid Rock, who topped the TPUSA All-American Halftime Show. The event quickly gained massive traction online, racking up more than 30 million views across social media platforms, making it one of the most-watched alternative halftime broadcasts in recent memory.
