If you thought Chuck E. Cheese had finally stayed out of trouble for a few months, think again.
The pizza-loving mascot, whose full legal name is Charles Entertainment Cheese, is once again going viral after a video surfaced showing him delivering what appears to be a swift kick to a kid inside one of his arcades.
The video shows Chuck standing in front of one of the soccer kicking arcade games at a Chuck E. Cheese location, lining up to boot the ball toward the goal like he’s about to take the final penalty in the World Cup.
But right as he winds up, a young girl suddenly darts into the exact spot between Chuck and the ball.
And unfortunately for everyone involved, Chuck had already committed to the kick.
Boom. Right in the backside.
The clip immediately spread online, with people joking that the world’s second most famous bipedal rat, shout out to Master Splinter from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, had just added assault to his growing rap sheet.
Because, as some internet detectives pointed out, Chuck has had a few… interesting headlines lately.
Back in July, someone wearing the Chuck E. Cheese mascot suit was reportedly arrested in Tallahassee for alleged credit card fraud, which led to the surreal image of the giant mouse being handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car.
