A young boy was left resembling a character straight out of Dragon Ball Z after a well-meaning costume idea reportedly went badly wrong, leaving him covered in stubborn latex paint that refused to wash off.
The child went viral after images and videos showed him fully coated in white and purple paint, closely resembling the infamous villain Frieza in his final form.
According to reports from TV Azteca, the boy’s parents had used standard household latex wall paint to create the costume, believing it would easily rinse off after the event.
However, once the festivities ended, the situation quickly took a turn.
The paint reportedly clung stubbornly to the child’s skin, with repeated attempts to wash it off proving unsuccessful. Videos circulating online show adults trying to scrub away the paint as the boy remains almost entirely covered, his transformation into the iconic anime character appearing far more permanent than intended.
The clip has sparked a mix of concern and amusement on social media, with many pointing out the risks of using non-cosmetic materials on skin, particularly for children.
Latex wall paint is not designed for body use and can adhere strongly, making removal difficult without proper products or techniques.
While it is unclear how long it ultimately took to remove the paint, the incident has quickly become a cautionary tale for parents attempting elaborate costumes at home.
What began as a creative tribute to Dragon Ball Z ended with an unexpectedly realistic transformation, one that proved far harder to reverse than anyone anticipated.
