A mother-of-three in small-town Texas has been accused of running a high-end prostitution operation out of her own home, with shocking claims that local police officers were among those involved.
Ashley Ketcherside and her husband Michael Ketcherside have been charged in connection with an alleged sex ring operating in Godley, a quiet community now at the center of a growing scandal.
Prosecutors allege that the couple hosted members of the Godley Police Department, along with their spouses, at their home, where the illicit activities were said to take place.
According to authorities, Ashley Ketcherside was not only involved in the operation but played a leading role, allegedly coaching other women on how to market themselves while also working as a prostitute herself, reportedly charging as much as $1,000 per hour.
The case has widened dramatically with the involvement of former law enforcement figures, including Solomon Omotoya and Matthew Cantrell, both of whom are now facing charges tied to the alleged ring.
In a bombshell claim, the district attorney’s office also alleged that members of the police department conspired with the Ketchersides to gather information on individuals they viewed as adversaries.
“The Godley Police Department, under Chief Matthew Cantrell, conspired… to compile information on local public officials and private citizens they perceived as adversaries,” prosecutors said.
Those allegedly targeted include members of the city council, the local school board, the former mayor, and even a former police chief, raising serious questions about abuse of power and corruption within the small-town department.
The accusations have also cast renewed scrutiny on Ashley Ketcherside’s past. She was reportedly removed from a local school district committee in 2023, which helped shape sex education curriculum, after previous prostitution-related convictions came to light.
Now, she faces racketeering charges and is being held on a $200,000 bond.
Her husband, Michael, faces multiple charges including continuous promotion and solicitation of prostitution, as well as racketeering, and is being held on a significantly higher $450,000 bond.
As the investigation continues, the case has sent shockwaves through Godley, with residents grappling with the scale of the allegations and the involvement of those sworn to uphold the law.
What began as an investigation into alleged illegal activity inside a suburban home has rapidly evolved into a far-reaching scandal touching law enforcement, local government, and the wider community.
