A porch security camera captured the jaw-dropping moment an Amazon delivery driver ditched the driveway and plowed right across a homeowner’s pristine front lawn to make a drop-off, and the clip is setting social media ablaze.
Posted Monday on X, the footage shows a blue sedan cruising across the lush green grass in what appears to be a suburban yard. The driver, a woman wearing an Amazon vest and cap, parks the car directly on the lawn instead of using the paved path.
She hops out, grabs a cardboard box from the vehicle, delivers the package, then climbs back in and drives off, leaving behind clear, ugly tire tracks carved into the once-perfect yard.
“Zero respect for private property, this is getting ridiculous. Clean up your act, Amazon. Is this acceptable?” the poster wrote alongside the clip.
Viewers were quick to pile on with fury.“I would be livid,” one commenter blasted. Others demanded Amazon track down the driver, fire her on the spot, and pay for the damage.“Find her, fire her, and sue her,” another fumed.
The incident highlights a growing headache for homeowners: delivery drivers, often independent contractors working for Amazon’s sprawling network, cutting corners on private property in their personal vehicles.
Similar complaints have popped up across the country for years, with drivers repeatedly caught driving over lawns, mailboxes and flower beds to save a few seconds.
Amazon has faced repeated criticism for inadequate training and oversight of its delivery partners. The company typically directs customers with damage claims to file through its support channels, though results vary.
