A smoking-hot Iowa blonde thought she could charm and cry her way out of trouble during a Florida traffic stop, but the bodycam footage shows the “pretty privilege” strategy fell flat.
Brittany Yoecum was pulled over in Hillsborough County on a brisk spring night after deputies say she couldn’t keep her car in her lane. What followed was a masterclass in emotional manipulation that’s now blowing up online.
The viral split-screen video shows Yoecum, a striking blonde with heavy makeup and a low-cut black top, breaking down in tears outside her vehicle. She sobs, gestures wildly, covers her face, and repeatedly pleads with officers while bringing up family members and heading to “a friend’s house.”
At one point, she appears to tell the cops they should “believe in God”, apparently trying to save their souls while dodging field sobriety tests. She did everything except take the standard DUI tests, according to the clip.
Despite the waterworks and religious appeals, the deputies stayed professional and didn’t buy it. Yoecum was hit with a reckless driving charge and spent roughly eight hours in the Hillsborough County Jail.
Her mugshot, taken in the classic orange jail jumpsuit, shows her still looking surprisingly put-together, blonde hair done, makeup on point.
Yoecum may have avoided a DUI charge, but the bodycam proves one thing loud and clear: In Florida, flashing a smile and turning on the tears doesn’t make the flashing lights go away.
