Security camera videos catch porch pirates. There are security camera videos that catch your neighbor’s kid ding-dong ditching. And then there’s this one: a brown dog who looks at a table full of food, clocks the camera watching him, and decides the only logical move is to walk up and physically move the damn camera so he can feast in peace.

The dog sits there first, staring at the table like a guy at a buffet who just realized the manager is watching. Then he stands up, strolls over to the camera, and gives it the old nose shove. The view swings wildly. Mission accomplished. He heads back to the table as if nothing happened.

Then the cat shows up.

The gray cat does not hesitate. It walks straight to the camera, gets up close, and puts it back where it belongs. No debate. No “hey maybe we split the snacks.” Just cold, calculated betrayal. The dog is mid-snack when the camera swings back around on him. Caught red-handed. Or red-pawed. Whatever.

The internet has been calling the cat everything from a tattletale to a cop. One guy in the replies summed it up perfectly: the cat doesn’t even want the food. It just wants the dog to get busted. That’s not a roommate. That’s an informant.

What makes it so good is how calculated both animals look. The dog isn’t just bumping into the camera by accident. He knows exactly what he’s doing. The cat knows exactly what the dog just did and decides that’s not happening on its watch. Pets are supposed to be simple. Eat, sleep, knock stuff off the counter.
