The footage, posted Friday night, shows the woman strolling along a busy roadway right next to active rail lines after dark. Cars fly past. Headlights glare. She keeps walking, bag in hand, like this is just her regular commute.
She weaves near the concrete barrier separating the road from the tracks, at one point appearing to duck or pause behind it while traffic keeps rolling. Filmed from a nearby platform, the video has that classic “only in Chicago” energy that makes you want to look away and can’t.
