Teacher Takes Her 2-3 Year Olds On A Day Trip While Tying Them All Together With Rope
21 days ago
A viral video making the rounds online shows a teacher leading what appears to be a group of 2 to 3-year-olds down a busy city sidewalk using one of those colorful ropes with little handles attached for each kid to hold onto during a kindergarten field trip.
And somehow, against all laws of nature, every single child stays attached to the rope.
That alone deserves a Congressional Medal of Honor.
Because anybody who has spent more than 30 seconds around toddlers knows they operate with the survival instincts of raccoons. Their entire existence is based on sudden decisions. One second, they’re walking normally, the next they’re licking a parking meter, sprinting toward traffic, or trying to fight a pigeon twice their size.
Now imagine being responsible for TWELVE to FIFTEEN of them at once in the middle of a crowded city.
Absolutely not.
The craziest part is how calm the teacher looks during the whole thing. Meanwhile, if you gave me responsibility over that group for even four minutes, I’d age 11 years immediately. I’d be sweating through my shirt, doing constant head counts like a nervous casino dealer.
Parents watching this video are probably having Vietnam flashbacks to losing sight of their kid for 1.7 seconds at Target and nearly collapsing spiritually. Meanwhile, daycare workers and teachers are out here running Navy SEAL-level operations every single weekday before noon.
