A motorcyclist was shunted off the road by a van driver attempting a U-turn at a busy junction.
In an incident captured on dashcam footage, the scooter and its rider were knocked on to the pavement after a van driver tried to turn his vehicle around at the traffic lights.
The collision occurred on Monday morning, around 10.15am, and resulted in the temporary closure of the road in Bristol city centre, the Bristol Post reports.
Eyewitness Aaron Baber said he heard “a big bang” from his office in Wessex Kia, which is situated opposite the junction.
“[I] just heard a big bang from outside my work window,” he told the Bristol Post.
