A video circulating online shows a young influencer being choked unconscious by a professional fighter in what critics are calling a reckless and dangerous stunt.
The 32-second clip features Kick streamer Clavicular (Braden Eric Peters) sitting on the floor of a crowded nightclub while Arman Tsarukyan, a prominent UFC fighter, wraps his arm around the influencer’s neck in a rear chokehold.
Within seconds, Peters appears to lose consciousness, slumping forward before his body begins to convulse, seemingly experiencing a hypoxic seizure as oxygen supply to the brain is cut off. Onlookers can be seen reacting with alarm before stepping in to break the hold and revive him.
The footage has ignited a firestorm of backlash across social media, with many users condemning both men for what they describe as irresponsible and potentially fatal behavior.
Peters, known online as Clavicular, has built a following through controversial “looksmaxxing” content, an extreme subculture focused on maximizing physical appearance through often unconventional or risky methods. His posts across platforms like Kick and TikTok frequently push boundaries, drawing both fascination and criticism.
But this latest incident has raised fresh concerns about how far influencers are willing to go for attention.
“This isn’t content, it’s dangerous,” one user wrote, while another added, “That could have ended very badly. People die from chokeholds.”
Medical experts have long warned that chokeholds, particularly when applied without proper supervision, can lead to loss of consciousness within seconds and carry risks including brain injury, seizures, and even death.
The involvement of Tsarukyan, a trained professional fighter, has also come under scrutiny. While such techniques are common in regulated combat sports, critics argue they have no place in uncontrolled environments like nightclubs, especially when used on untrained individuals.
