Disturbing footage circulating online has captured a chaotic confrontation between a woman and police officers inside a Texas home, prompting an official review by authorities.

The video, which has spread widely across social media, shows two El Paso police officers engaged in a physical struggle with a woman later identified as Kelcee Hufford.

In the clip, officers can be seen attempting to detain Hufford while she appears to be lying down, with the situation quickly escalating into a tense and emotional scene.

Hufford is heard screaming throughout the encounter, at one point claiming she had been tased multiple times and accusing officers of “holding her hostage.” She repeatedly demands to know the officers’ badge numbers as the struggle continues.

The situation intensifies further when one of the officers appears to strike Hufford in the head during the confrontation.

At the same time, a second woman, believed to be Hufford’s mother, films the incident while pleading with officers. She can be heard telling them that her daughter has autism, adding to the distressing nature of the scene.

As more officers arrive at the property, Hufford is heard shouting, “I can’t breathe,” while the attempt to restrain her continues.

Police later confirmed that officers were attempting to locate and arrest Hufford in connection with a family violence and assault case.

In a statement, the El Paso Police Department said officers used force during the apprehension of a suspect wanted on those charges.

Hufford was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on charges of family violence and assault, as well as resisting arrest, with bonds set at $3,000 and $1,000 respectively. She was later released on a personal recognizance bond.

Authorities also confirmed that the department’s Internal Affairs Division has launched a review into the incident in line with standard procedure.

“We recognize the community’s concern and are committed to transparency,” the department said, adding that further details will be released as the investigation progresses.

Records indicate that Hufford had previously faced charges relating to marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia, though those cases were ultimately dismissed.

The footage has since sparked intense debate online, with viewers divided over the officers’ use of force and the circumstances surrounding the arrest.
