A disturbing video circulating online shows a woman calmly admitting to shooting a gas station employee in Maryland, before making chilling threats about committing further crimes.

The suspect, identified by police as Shantay O'Donnell, allegedly recorded herself speaking directly to camera following an attempted robbery at a gas station in Columbia on April 17.

In the footage, she appears to openly confess to the shooting of a clerk during the incident, while making a series of erratic and alarming statements.

At one point, she claims to be “God of this Earth” and suggests she is above law enforcement, before going on to say she intends to carry out additional robberies and even “burn something down.”

The video has shocked viewers, not only because of the apparent admission, but due to the calm and unapologetic manner in which the statements are delivered.

Authorities say the incident occurred during an attempted armed robbery at a gas station in Columbia, where a clerk was shot. Details about the victim’s condition have not been widely disclosed, but the case quickly drew police attention.

After releasing surveillance footage tied to the incident, investigators were able to identify O’Donnell as a suspect.

She was subsequently taken into custody, though officials confirmed she was already being held on unrelated charges at the time of her arrest in connection to the shooting.

O’Donnell, 46, of Virginia Beach, now faces a series of serious charges, including attempted murder, assault, armed robbery, and handgun offenses.

The video, which continues to circulate widely on social media, has sparked concern over both the nature of the alleged crime and the suspect’s apparent state of mind, with many questioning how someone could so openly discuss violent acts and future intentions.

Law enforcement officials have not commented in detail on the video itself, but confirmed that the investigation remains active as the case moves forward through the legal system.
