Wild Video Shows A Toddler Emerge From A Car That Flipped Over After A Police Pit Maneuver

Another viral police chase video is igniting fierce debate online after Arkansas State Police used a PIT maneuver to stop a fleeing Dodge Charger, only for the vehicle to flip over with a three-year-old child still inside.
The incident happened on May 2 in Joiner, Arkansas, after state troopers attempted to pull over 23-year-old Thalia Jones for allegedly driving more than 80 mph in a 55 mph zone.
Instead of stopping, authorities say Jones accelerated and fled.
Dashcam footage from the pursuit shows troopers chasing the Dodge Charger down the highway before eventually executing a PIT maneuver, a tactical technique used by law enforcement to forcibly spin fleeing vehicles off the road.
But this stop didn’t end with a simple spinout.
The Charger violently flipped over after the maneuver, rolling onto its side in a cloud of dust and debris while officers rushed toward the wreckage, expecting the worst.
Then came the moment that left viewers stunned.
A small child, Jones’ three-year-old son, can reportedly be seen climbing out of the overturned vehicle and walking toward officers seemingly unharmed.
The toddler surviving without major injuries is the only reason this incident didn’t become an even greater tragedy.
Meanwhile, Jones had to be extracted from the wrecked vehicle before being handcuffed by responding troopers. In the footage, one officer can reportedly be heard angrily confronting her, telling her she nearly killed her own child by refusing to stop.
