Kung Fu Robot Goes Berserk In Indonesian Office, Attacking Workers Who Try Desperately To Get A Hold Of It

Shocking CCTV footage shows a humanoid bot flailing wildly, striking dramatic martial arts poses as terrified workers scramble to restrain the mechanical menace.

A sleek humanoid robot appeared to snap in an office or classroom setting in Indonesia, launching into a wild rampage that has the internet convinced the robot uprising has officially begun.

The 12-second security clip, which exploded online over the July 4 weekend, shows the white-and-black bot suddenly turning aggressive. It delivers high kicks and shoves toward a worker in a blue jacket, then spins into flailing arm movements and freezes in a wide-legged kung fu stance with arms raised like it’s about to deliver the finishing blow.

Colleagues rush in, one guy in a blue vest grabs the machine while others back away or try to intervene. A red office chair gets knocked around in the chaos. The whole scene looks ripped straight from a bad sci-fi movie.

The bot strongly resembles models from Chinese robotics company Unitree, which has openly shown off its machines performing actual kung fu routines in public demos and even at major Chinese television galas. Whether this particular incident was a deliberate test of combat-style movements, a programming glitch, or something else entirely, the footage has people asking the same question: What happens when these things get really good at fighting?

So far, no injuries have been reported from the clip. But the video has reignited fears about the rapid rise of humanoid robots in workplaces and what happens when their “helpful assistant” programming takes an unexpected martial arts detour.

One thing’s for sure: If this bot was supposed to be making coffee or filing paperwork, someone seriously needs to update its software. We’re not saying the robots are coming for us… but if they start quoting “Enter the Dragon,” we’re in trouble.
