Woman Demands A Refund From Papa John's Even Though She Ate 75% Of The Pie
18 days ago
A Papa John’s customer is sparking debate after showing up at a store asking for a refund — after eating most of two pizzas — saying they were “too dry.”
According to those who witnessed the exchange, the manager calmly explained the store’s policy: once most of the food is gone, refunds aren’t an option.
“You can’t eat 75% of the food and then bring it back,” he explained.
To make it clearer, he compared it to eating nearly an entire McDonald’s meal and then trying to return it with only a bite left.
The customer wasn’t satisfied.
She continued to push back, asked for a supervisor, requested corporate contact information, and eventually even called her sister — turning a simple refund request into a full-blown negotiation.
The situation has people split online.
Some say this is a clear case of customer entitlement and that businesses need to hold the line or risk encouraging more of the same. Others argue companies should just issue refunds to avoid conflict, negative reviews, or awkward standoffs at the counter.
So what do you think?
If most of the pizza is gone, should the refund be too — or should the customer always be right?
