NEW YORK — They won the game, then wrecked the burger joint.
Wild Knicks supporters celebrating the team's stunning 29-point comeback victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals didn't just hit the streets Tuesday night. They stormed a Five Guys in Manhattan, climbing counters, hurling food and furniture, and turning the fast-food spot into a total disaster zone.
Shocking video posted to X by Breaking911 shows the madness unfolding inside the restaurant as adrenaline-fueled "fans" went full Animal House — minus the togas.
Tables flipped. Chairs swung. Shirtless guys vaulted over the red-and-white checkered counter like it was a jungle gym, knocking over milkshake machines and sending cups and wrappers flying everywhere. One rioter in a green-and-white jersey hopped the service line while others ransacked the back. Employees ducked for cover as the mob raged
The Knicks pulled off one of the greatest comebacks in Finals history, clawing back from a massive deficit at Madison Square Garden to keep their championship hopes alive. But the "celebration" spilled into the streets and restaurants, in typical New York fashion: loud, lawless and expensive for someone else to clean up.
Similar chaos has marked the Knicks' playoff run, with street takeovers, brawls, and watch-party mayhem becoming the norm. Critics were quick to point out the lack of Knicks gear on many of the perps in the Five Guys video, just another night of opportunists using sports as an excuse.
No word yet from NYPD on arrests at the scene or the extent of the damage to the franchise restaurant. Five Guys didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
But one thing's clear in a city already on edge: When the Knicks win big, the bill for the rest of us just got bigger, in fries, furniture and busted windows.
Welcome to New York, where even a victory tastes like defeat for the poor schlubs left to mop up the mess.
