Another wild episode of public disorder unfolded Tuesday morning in North Sacramento, where a man was taken into custody after brazenly launching himself onto moving vehicles in broad daylight on a heavily traveled roadway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the suspect was seen running into traffic, grabbing door handles, and clinging to cars as they continued driving, turning a normal commute into a real-world stress test of public safety.

The arrest went down around 9:15 a.m. near the busy intersection of Watt Avenue and Marconi Avenue, not far from Interstate 80. Officers later confirmed the man was also wanted on two outstanding arrest warrants from outside the Sacramento region.

Multiple videos circulating online capture the surreal scene from the perspective of stunned drivers.

In the first clip, motorist Daryl Guevarra is driving southbound when a man suddenly appears gripping the side of a white Mercedes, refusing to let go as traffic continues to move.

“Are you cool? What’s going on?” Guevarra can be heard shouting, disbelief evident in his voice.

Moments later, another video shows the same individual now attached to a different vehicle, this time a black SUV approaching an intersection.

“What is going on right now?” Guevarra says, filming through his side mirror as the situation spirals further out of control.

In a third clip, timestamped shortly before 9 a.m., the man is seen jumping from car to car as Guevarra follows at a distance.

“Dude, this guy is jumping on people’s cars,” he says.

The fourth video escalates the tension even more, showing the suspect sprawled across the top of a moving black sedan as it passes by.

“We are going 40 miles an hour,” Guevarra exclaims. “This dude is tripping.”

The footage ends abruptly after Guevarra exits his vehicle, confronting the man directly as the camera drops out of view.

“What are you doing, dude?” he can be heard saying.

Authorities eventually detained the suspect and booked him into jail on two charges. Officials did not immediately release further details about the man’s condition or motives.
